The town's historical group will take you on a local walking tour with a little advance notice.

Step outside Mitchell and Bobbie's door for an invigorating run, walk, or bicycle ride, in town and nearby open spaces. Note: No bicycles are provided, but you can bring your own.

Within easy driving distance, hike the popular 1.5 mile Roaring Run Trail, tour Virginia Mountain Vineyards and Blue Ridge Vineyards, or explore the world famous Appalachian Trail.
